Born and raised in Whyalla, South Australia, Melanie attended high school at St Johns College, Whyalla, before moving to Aquinas College to attend Adelaide University and study Science.  Working in retail Pharmacy whilst pursuing her dream to dance in Adelaide she then completed a Bachelor of Management at the University of SA and accepted a coveted position as a Graduate Service Manager at Telstra.  During her fifteen years in corporate telecommunications Melanie service-managed both Government and Large Corporate accounts before moving on to the management of customer service accreditations and awards, winning the National Customer Service Executive of the Year Award in 2008. Melanie managed the largest ever business unit certification to International Customer Service Standard before moving on to a role in Culture and Employee Engagement. Passionate about customer service and community involvement Melanie has served on committees for the childcare centre, kindergarten and now primary school that her boys attend.  Pursuing her growing interest in dance education Melanie has also managed a dance business for five years.  Melanie is dedicated to caring for her community and is devoted to her customers.
